This whole Valentines Day business has been so ridiculous. Since I am assuming that anyone who I know well enough to ever think about making out with would know that I would never just write them a note asking to do such, knows me at all can guess that I don't make it a habit to send out Valentines in the first place, anyone who received one from me can rest assured that it is fake.

The sad part of this, in my opinion, is how very complex it all is as a prank. It must have taken a fair amount of time to plan out and implement. I find it depressing to think that anyone has that much spare time on their hands. Honestly, Whoever-You-Are, go do your homework, for Merlin's sake!

Also, before I forget, to Chase Harper: 10 points from Gryffindor for throwing paint balloons at people and ruining my best set of robes.

This attack on the owlery was absolutely deplorable behaviour. I am ashamed to think that I share a school with anyone who could behave in such a fashion. Honestly, this is no way for supposedly-civilized human beings to act.

Prefects, I hope we can all agree to be extra vigilant over the next while, until these perpetrators are properly punished for their actions. Perhaps an extra shift or two each week patrolling the corridors after curfew?

On a personal note: Thank Merlin I sent Zeus off with a letter for my parents late last night. I am very grateful for the coincidence. I don't know what I would have done if something had happened to him. He's about the only animal I've ever met who hasn't tried to attack me on sight. The idea of having to get a new owl to replace him was... unpleasant.

Integrity without knowledge is weak and useless, and knowledge without integrity is dangerous and dreadful )

Disclaimer: This is a fake journal for role-playing purposes in [info]darkmark_rising. I do not own Ralph Macmillan. Well, sort of. I own Ralph as he exists here. However, the original concept of Ralph-existing-to-go-on-and-become-Ernie's-father belongs to J.K. Rowling. *pout* I don't own Chris Marquette either, by the way, though I do think he's adorable.
